In my last post I was all in praise for leading an optimistic life… Well, I thought I would let you all know about someone who keeps this optimism going on in my life by giving me motivation and strength.
The “someone” is– My Mom.
She is basically the best of best friends I have ever had. We go out shopping together, we play pranks on each other and we do every other crazy thing that you wouldn’t expect a mom-daughter duo to do. Things have gone so far that outsiders think we are sisters !
But I tell you, even though we spend a lot of time together there is this one special thing we do that I always look forward to- Our evening Coffee break ( well, I drink milk but anyways ) .
We sit together every evening ( 5:30 p.m-ish) and have a sip of our drink and talk about life in general. This is time where things get really funny or really serious ( I mean super serious that even one of us might tear up! ).
These little talks we have at this time helps us discover each other more and helps us understand each other more. Although there ain’t any real advice that takes place in these talks , there is something about them that gives us strength and motivation.
These talks with her makes me realise how much we both love each other. This love keeps me going on. Keeps me optimistic and motivated.
This is ultimately the reason why no matter how many falls I might have I will keep working towards my dream, and the day I achieve my dream I wanna turn to my mom and see how happy she is. That happiness is what I want to give her for all the support she is giving me now.
She is the light during my dark days and the smile during my best days !
Family is where you find strength and motivation. Family is where you find life. Life couldn’t have been what it is without all the support that I have recieved from her. This is the very fuel which keeps me going.
When ever you feel like you can’t do something, just think about the things you love , think about all the happiness you got from them … And then ask yourself, if this is what you are giving back to them….
Each of us have someone, even if you don’t think so. It is just that we need to figure it out. We need to find the right thing, the right someone which/who stands with us during our Rise and Fall…
I would like to thank Housing.com for once again inspiring me to share something very close to my heart !
